REPOST: Blood Drive at ACCC on Tuesday, March 23 — Schedule an appointment today!

The entire process takes approximately 45 – 60 minutes. It is advisable drink plenty of fluids (preferably water) and eat something before you donate. You will also need to bring a photo ID.
The Red Cross prefers appointments. Not only does an appointment get you in and out faster, but it also ensures that the Red Cross will send enough staff to work at the drive. You see, if there are not enough scheduled appointments for the drive, the Red Cross will only send as any staff members as it thinks the drive will require. This is unfortunate because if the drive gets a lot of “walk ins,” people may be turned away because there is simply not enough staff members to meet the demand. I’ve seen this happen before and I don’t want to see it happen again.
